On Friday, 23rd October at 7:00 PM, the Carnegie Singers will be performing a special concert at St Bridget’s Church, Moresby, supported by St John’s Choir, Workington. Funds raised at the concert will go towards hosting the French Val de Reuil choir in November as part of a twinning visit. Help us give them an unforgettable Cumbrian welcome.
We want to say a huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to the wonderful people at Moresby Church. Because this concert is a fundraiser, their incredible kindness in not charging us hire fees and welcoming us in so warmly makes a massive difference to our choir funds. They are even generously putting on tea, coffee, and refreshments for everyone after the performance!
The evening will be a relaxed performance, followed by refreshments and a raffle!

Every ticket is numbered, so simply write your name on the back when you hand it in at the door to be entered into our raffle to win a bottle of French wine! If you buy your ticket online you will be given a number for the draw when you arrive!

Alongside the Workington and District Twinning Association, we will be welcoming friends from our twin town in France, Val de Reuil. The weekend will consist of a number of concerts and social events, with further details to follow.

We will be singing Christmas carols at the Washington Central Hotel while you tuck into a delicious festive-themed afternoon tea.
